Habitat and Description: Shallow permanent herbaceous-dominated pond and surrounding swampy mixed forest (red maple, bald cypress, water oak, willow oak, and loblolly pine) with ground covered by sphagnum moss. In tight bunches up to 30 cm diam. at base. Abundant in shade with sphagnum and litter.
