Habitat and Description: Stems somewhat scandent. Corolla lilac-blue. Common in and along margins of blackbrush-dominated shrubland on +/- level upland underlain by Lissie Formation and otherwise supporting live oak woodlands and midgrass grasslands. Associates include Acacia rigidula, A. smallii, Bouteloua rigidiseta, Celtis reticulata, Diospyros texana, Forestiera angustifolia, Ilex vomitoria, Opuntia lindheimeri, Paspalum plicatulum, Passiflora foetida, Quercus virginiana, Sideroxylon lanuginosum, Wedelia hispida, and Ziziphus obtusifolius.
