Habitat and Description: Mixed Chihuahuan Desert scrub with Acacia neovernicosa, Larrea, Guaiacum, Celtis pallida, Ephedra, Fouquieria, Yucca torr., Viguiera steno., Jatropha, Opuntia spp. and grasses. Erect, somewhat fleshy perennial rooted in wet crevices. Fls. yellow.
