Habitat and Description: Chihuahuan Desert Scrub of Fouquieria, Opuntia imbricata, Jatropha dioica, Forestiera on rocky outcrops. Sporobolus airoides dominant in drainage. Perennial with ascending branches. Bracts white and very conspicuous.
