Habitat and Description: Small saddle in hills w. large red boulders. Mixed Chihuahuan desert scrub w. Viguiera sten. Opuntia spp., Acacia greggii, Agave leuchuguilla, Tecoma stans, Yucca, Fouqueria, Echinocereus triglochidiatus, Heteropogon, Ayenia pilosa, and Tephrosia. Erect perennial ca. 20-30 cm tall. Fls. lavender in bud. Uncommon.
