Habitat and Description: Low shrub; occasional in diverse low- to medium-stature shrubland or shortgrass grassland on shallow stony clay soils on limestone upland. Shrub associates include Larrea tridentata, Opuntia sp., Condalia ericoides, stunted Prosopis glandulosa.
