Habitat and Description: Rare in reddish-brown clay in bed of hunting road cut through young eastern red cedar - hardwood forest on Weches Formation upland. Associates include Juniperus virginiana, Gleditsia triacanthos, Oenothera laciniata, Opuntia sp., Arnoglossum plantagineum, Carex cherokeensis, Chaerophyllum tainturieri, Liquidambar styraciflua, Ulmus alata, Rosa bracteata, Lonicera japonica, Aesculus pavia, Tridens flavus, Prunella vulgaris, Pyrrhopappus sp.
