Habitat and Description: Occasional in partial shade of mottes of Prosopis glandulosa, Celtis pallida, Zanthoxylum fagara on fine sand or loamy sand on low rise on otherwise level surface of South Texas Holocene Sand Sheet. Other associates include Urtica chamaedryoides, and Eupatorium incarnatum.
