Habitat and Description: Local in loose white sugar sand on occasionally mown highway right-of-way through post oak - live oak woodland on nearly level upland underlain by Carrizo Formation. Associates include Acalypha radians, Cnidoscolus texanus, Froelichia sp., Gaillardia amblyodon, Hedyotis humifusa, Helianthemum georgianum, Helianthus cf. debilis, Hymenopappus carrizoanus, Lupinus subcarnosus, Mentzelia nuda, Monarda punctata, Phlox drummondii, Plantago hookeriana, Sida lindheimeri.
