Habitat and Description: Rather common in and along edge of mesquite-colima woodland on Delfina fine sandy loam on undulating landscape of Holocene sand sheet. Associates include Prosopis glandulosa, Zanthoxylum fagara, Ziziphus obtusifolius, Forestiera angustifolia, Phaulothamnus spinescens, Echinocereus enneacanthus, Guaiacum angustifolium, Rivina humilis, Setaria texana, Cynanchum barbigerum, and Panicum maximum.
