Habitat and Description: Assoc. with Cephalanthus, Ungnadia, Salix gooddingii, Quercus, Baccharis, Muhlenbergia repens, Rhus virens, Hedeoma molle, and Perityle dissecta. Slender erect perennial 2 m. tall, several stemmed from base. In gravel in active channel area. Uncommon.
