Habitat and Description: Common in disturbed sandy soil in roadbed and in mown area along edge of mesquite woodland on Delfina fine sandy loam on undulating landscape of Holocene sand sheet. Associates include Aphanostephus skirrhobasis, Brachiaria ciliatissima, Cenchrus spinifex, Chloris cucullata, Eragrostis secundiflora, Evolvulus alsinoides, Helenium linifolium, Herissantia crispa, Linaria texana, Lobelia berlandieri, Rhynchelytrum repens, Senecio ampullaceus, and Sida ciliaris.
