Habitat and Description: Rare, noted only in strip of grassland along edge of mesquite woodland on Delfina fine sandy loam on undulating landscape of Holocene sand sheet. Associates include Chamaecrista texana, Coreopsis nuecensoides, Descurainia pinnata, Diodia tricocca, Eragrostis sessilispica, Gladularia quadrangulata, Loeflingia squarrosa, Mitracarpus breviflorus, Nama jamaicense, Oenothera laciniata, Paspalum setaceum, Polanisia erosa, Polypremum procumbens, Scutellaria muriculata, Senecio ampullaceus, Sida lindheimeri, Sphaeralcea lindheimeri, and Zornia gemella.
