Habitat and Description: Occasional, this collected from bed of truck track through open post oak woodland on loose well drained light brown to grayish sandy soil on nearly level landscape underlain by Queen City Sand. Associates include Centunculus minimus, Plantago hybrida, Trifolium berjariense, Agrostis hiemalis, Eragrostis secundiflora, Lechea tenuifolia, and Gossypiathus lanuginosus.
