Habitat and Description: Occasional in mesquite-lotebush-palm brush in loamy clay soils of +/- level upland. Associates include Capsicum annuum, Celtis pallida, Citharexylum berlandieri, Cocculus diversifolius, Condalia hookeri, Forestiera angustifolia, Malvaviscus arboreus, Panicum maximum, Parkinsonia aculeata, Pennisetum ciliare, Phaulothamnus spinescens, Pithecellobium pallens, Prosopis glandulosa, Sabal mexicana, Sideroxylon celastrinum, Zanthoxulum fagara, and Ziziphus obtusifolius.
