Habitat and Description: Locally common in revegetation site (former cotton field) on somewhat loamy, fine-textured calcareous soil of Rio Grande delta. Associates include Argemone mexicana, A. sanguinea, Eragrostis cf. barrelieri, Glandularia bipinnatifida, G. quadrnagulata, and Lepidium sp.
