Habitat and Description: Large, flat open meadow in Pinus taeda forest. Very loose sandy soils. Schizachyrium dominant, w. Cnidoscolus, Schrankia, Tradescantia, Vitis, Monarda, Froelichia, Yucca, Solanum, Sapindus, many Cyperaceae and grasses. Annual to 30 cm tall. Ray flts white with pale pinkish outside. Disc flts bright yellow.
