Habitat and Description: Undulating old stream and slough terraces, varying in drainage, sandy with humus. Closed mixed pine (longleaf, loblolly, and shortleaf) and hardwood (water oak, southern red oak, sweet gum, black gum and magnolia) forest. Possibly remnant longleaf pine savanna. Common in ground layer.
