Habitat and Description: Locally common in vaguely halophytic mesquite-dominated vegetation on bladed sites on somewhat saline or gypseous soils on higher parts of alluvial/colluvial flat between limestone ridges. Associates include Atriplex canescens, Baccharis neglecta, Berberis trifoliolata, Clematis drummondii, Koeberlinia spinosa, Lepidium alyssoides var. angustifolium, Peganum harmala, Prosopis glandulosa, Sporobolus airoides.
