Habitat and Description: Occasional at edge of live oak-juniper woodland on gravelly clay loam in bottom of rather broad limestone canyon. Associates include Arenaria benthamii, Berberis trifoliolata, Celtis reticulata, Chaetopappa bellioides, Diospyros texana, Juniperus ashei, Limnodea arkansana, Nama jamaicense, Nassella leucotricha, Parietaria sp., Pinaropappus roseus, Prosopis glandulosa, Quercus pungens var. vaseyana, Salvia roemeriana, Spermolepis inermis, Triodanis coloradoensis.
