Habitat and Description: Occasional in forb-dominated sandhill vegetation on deep well drained coarse sand on undulating grassy alluvial terrace. Associates include Asclepias tuberosa, Asclepias oenotheroides, Cenchrus incertus, Chamaecrista cf. nictitans, Cnidoscolus texanus, Croton argyranthemus, Croton glandulosus, Elyonurus tripsacoides, Eriogonum multiflorum, Froelichia floridana, Heterotheca subaxillaris, Mirabilis albida, Opuntia macrorhiza, Paspalum plicatulum, Paspalum setaceum, Phyllanthus abnormis, Schizachyrium scoparium, Schrankia sp., Stillingia sylvatica, Tradescantia sp., Trichostema dichotomum, and Triplasis purpurea.
