Habitat and Description: Common on shallow gravelly clay on short gentle slopes and flat benches on limestone upland. Sheet 2 of 2. Associates include Acacia sp., Acleisanthes longiflora, A. wrightii, Aristida purpurea, Bouteloua trifida, Croton pottsii, Dalea formosa, Gutierrezia sp., Krameria grayi, Larrea tridentata, Panicum hallii, Parthenium incanum, Polygala macradenia, Zinnia acerosa.
