Habitat and Description: Pinus taeda-Quercus stellata woodland. Hills and gullies in reddish-sandy soil, w. understory of Callicarpa, Ilex, and Rhus toxicodendron. Perennial, stems several from woody base. Fls pale, cream-colored, not fragrant.
