Habitat and Description: Very gravelly roadside and swales. With Pinus taeda, Quercus w. Juniperus, Ilex and Panicum. Erect perennial 1.2 m. tall, branching from midway. Tips of infl. drooping. Phyllary tips purplish, anthers yellow.
