Habitat and Description: In fine-grained pale soils, in area of Larrea covered dissected pediment. Brushy drainage with Prosopis pubescens, Atriplex, Salix, Koeberlinia, Acacia neovern., Baccharis, and Flaveria. Clumping perennial to 1 m tall, in sandy bottoms of alkaline area. Uncommon.
