Locality: United States, Texas, Travis, Ca. 1000 ft. SW of gate at W end of Green Emerald Terrace, ca. 3.8-3.9 airmiles SSE of RM 1826 bridge over Slaughter Creek, ca. 4.6 airmiles E of FM 1826 bridge over Bear Creek, on Edwards 82 Tract (a Prop 2 tract). Signal Hill Quadrangle. Elev. 780 - 790 ft.

Habitat and Description: Frequent in formerly grazed grassland openings in live oak savanna on Speck soils over Edwards Limestone on karstic upland. Grassland dominated by Bothriochloa ischaemum, Bouteloua rigidiseta, Buchloe dactyloides, and Hilaria belangeri. Native midgrasses scarce, but forbs abundant: Allium drummondii, Bouchetia erecta, Coelorachis cylindrica, Gaillardia pulchella, Galium virgatum, Gaura brachycarpa, Hedeoma acinoides, H. hispidum, Krameria lanceolata, Krigia gracilis, Linum hudsonioides, Rudbeckia hirta, Sedum nuttallianum, Valerianella radiata, etc.
