Habitat and Description:
On bank ca. 0.2 m above and 2 m back from water. Brown clay. Perennial herb. 0.9-1.2 m. In clumps of single plants, tufted to slight extent. Badly infected with smut, nearly all caryopses full. Green glumes with reddish tinge.
