Habitat and Description: Rare in sandy loam or loamy sand in senderos cut through post oak- live oak woodlands on deep sand of old alluvial terraces. Associates include Aristida longespica, Cenchrus spiniflex, Chamaecrista fasciculata, Croptilon hookerianum var. hookerianum, Croton capitatus, C. glandulosus, Diodia teres, Froelichia gracilis, Mollugo verticillata, Paspalum plicatulum, Portulaca umbraticola, Rhynchosia americana, Sida ciliaris, and Xanthisma texanum.
