Habitat and Description: Riparian veg. in igneous gravel and bedrock. Associates include Cephalanthus, Ungnadia, Salix, Quercus, Baccharis, Salix gooddingii, Muhlenbergia rigens, Rhus virens, Hedeoma molle, and Perityle dissecta. Fleshy perennial rooting at nodes, to 40 cm tall. Fls bright lemon yellow.
