Habitat and Description: Occasional in midgrass coastal prairie on fine sandy loam on gently rolling topography underlain by Goliad Formation. Matrix grassland lightly grazed, dominated by Paspalum plicatulum. Associates on patches of loamier or tighter soils include Iva angustifolia, Juncus marginatus, Rhynchospora harveyi.
