Habitat and Description: Local in moist sand in drainage ditch along road through coastal prairie dotted with live oak mottes, on sandy loam of +/- level upland underlain by Lissie Formation. Associates include Ammannia sp., Bacopa rotundifolia, Coreopsis tinctoria, Cyperus acuminatus, C. virens, Elatine sp., Eleocharis spp., Heteranthera limosa, Juncus cf. brachycarpus, Limnosciadium pumilum, Ludwigia peploides, L. linearis, Lythrum alatum, Marsilea sp., Mecardonia procumbens, Neptunia sp., Panicum hians, Ranunculus pusillus, Rhynchospora indianolensis, Veronica peregrina.
