Habitat and Description: Local in sandhill herbaceous vegetation on loose light-colored sand (of Deweyville origin?) on hummocky upland (Lissie Formation or unmapped Deweyville?) just above San Antonio River floodplain. Associates include Aphanostephus skirrhobasis, Brazoria truncata, Engelmannia pinnatifida, Gamochaeta pensylvanica, Helianthus debilis, Hymenopappus artemisiifolius, Monarda punctata, Oenothera grandis, O. laciniata.
