Habitat and Description: Frequent in recently burned (Feb 2004?) coastal prairie pasture on fine sandy loam on +/- level upland underlain by Lissie Formation. Associates include Ambrosia psilostachya, Cenchrus spinifex, Centunculus minimus, Chamaecrista fasciculata, Cirsium horridulum, Dichanthelium sphaerocarpon, Eupatorium compositifolium, Euthamia pulverulenta, Gaillardia aestivalis, Gamochaeta falcata, Gaura sp., Hymenopappus artemisiifolius, Juncus marginatus, Lechea sp., Oenothera laciniata, Paspalum plicatulum, Phlox cuspidata, Rhynchosia americana, Rhynchospora harveyi, Rudbeckia hirta, Rumex hastatulus, Silphium gracile, Tradescantia occidentalis.
