Habitat and Description: Common on patch of deep loose sand in coastal prairie dotted with live oak mottes, on +/- level upland underlain by Lissie Formation. Associates include Ambrosia psilostachya, Anagallis arvensis, Callirhoe involucrata, Cnidoscolus texanus, Commelina erecta, Croton parksii, Dichondra carolinense, Lepidium virginicum, Monarda punctata, Oenothera laciniata, Phlox drummondii, Vitis mustangensis.
