Habitat and Description: Occasional in sandhill herbaceous vegetation on deep loose sand of Recent alluvial or Deweyville origin, on hummocky slope on N edge of San Antonio River floodplain but below Lissie Formation surface. Associates include Aphanostephus skirrhobasis, Dalea emarginata, Ditaxis pilosissima, Matelea cynanchoides, Monarda punctata, Oenothera grandis, Prunus texana.
