Locality: United States, Texas, Goliad, Along W edge of main road on Shouse Ranch N of Big House, above E side of Horseshoe Lake on S side of floodplain of San Antonio River ca. 2.2 airmiles SE of mouth of Manahuilla Creek, at N28o37'42.6", W097o15'40.2". Hensley Lake Quadrangle. Elev. 130 - 140 ft.

Habitat and Description: Locally common in loose well drained sand of "sandhill" site on moderate slope mapped as Lissie Formation (but perhaps of Deweyville origin?). Associates include Acalypha radians, Berlandiera texana, Brazoria truncata, Croton parksii, Ditaxis pilosissima, Engelmannia pinnatifida, Heterotheca sp., Lantana horrida, Lesquerella grandiflora, Monarda punctata, Oenothera laciniata, Physalis spathulifolia, Prunus texana, Scutellaria muriculata, Stillingia sylvatica.
