Habitat and Description: Frequent in moist sandy loam in low unshaded area along intermittent drainage feeding W arm of Gibson Lake at S edge of San Antonio River floodplain. Associates include Aster spinosus, Cynodon dactylon, Cyperus articulatus, Diodia virginiana, Eclipta prostrata, Elymus virginicus, Eriochloa punctata, Galium tinctoria, Hibiscus laevis, Hydrocotyle sp., Mikania scandens, Paspalum lividum, Pluchea odorata, Pontederia cordata, Teucrium canadense.
