Locality: United States, Texas, Goliad, On low terrace along S side of Sarco Creek just downstream from low water crossing in Rincon Pasture of Sarco Creek Ranch, within gently undulating landscape underlain by sandy strata of Goliad Formation, 1.2-1.3 airmiles E to ESE of F. M. 2441 bridge over Sarco Creek. N28o34'26", W097o23'31". Melo Quadrangle. Elev. 120 - 125 ft.

Habitat and Description: Occasional in herbaceous "sandhill" vegetation on deep loose (alluvial?) sand in large opening in live oak - post oak woodland. Associates include Acalypha radians, Chloris cucullata, Coreopsis nuecensoides, Croton argyranthemus, Dalea obovata, Evax cf. candida, Gaillardia pulchella, Hedyotis parvifolia, Hymenopappus artemisiifolius, Lantana urticoides, Lupinus subcarnosus, Oenothera laciniata, Pediomelum rhombifolium, Phlox drummondii var. wilcoxiana, Physalis spathulifolia, Rhynchosia americana, Rubus trivialis, Rumex hastatulus, Schizachyrium scoparium, Sporobolus purpurascens, Stillingia sylvatica, Stylosanthes viscosa, Tradescantia sp., Vicia ludoviciana, Vulpia octoflora.
