Habitat and Description: Abundant, the dominant species in muck of Dead Hog Bog, on seepage slope below sandy slope underlain by Carrizo Formation. Associates include Andropogon virginicus, Fuirena cf. squarrosa, Gratiola sp., Habenaria repens, Helianthus angustifolius, Hyperi-cum mutilum, Juncus diffusissimus, Ludwigia alternifolia, L. decurrens, L. octovalvis, Myrica cerifera, Panicum anceps, P. hemitomum, Rhexia mariana, Rhynchospora glomerata, Saccharum giganteum, Sacciolepis striata, Scleria sp., Triadenum walteri.
