Habitat and Description: Even-grained, composted granite red substrate. Associates include Quercus pungens, Baccharis glutinosa, Brickellia laciniata, Viquiera stenoloba, Rhus virens. Prosopis, Celtis, Opuntia imbricata, Aloysia wrightii, and Garrya. Bunching perennial.
