Habitat and Description:
Common in moist depressions along margins of maritime live oak woodland on neutral to mildly alkaline fine sand (Galveston Series, Typic Udipsamments) on Pleistocene barrier island. Rather common in wet sandy spots elsewhere on ranch as well.
