Habitat and Description: Ridge derived from pale buff-colored tertiary volcanic deposits. Associated with Larrea-Parthenium incanum scrub with. Fouquieria, Acacia neovernicosa, and Jatropha dioica. Rounded shrub 50 cm tall. Frs. immature, green. Locally abundant in white, fine-textured soils.
