Habitat and Description: Scoured creek bottom with Quercus fusiformis, Juglans microphylla, Ulmus crassifolia, Vitis monticola, and Melia azedarach. Erect perennial, stems to 80 cm tall. Fls red. Mostly past floewring in this population. Amongst shrubs on rocky outcrop in shade.
