Habitat and Description: Ocasional in shrubland on sandy loam on loma. Woody associates include Aloysia gratissima, Amyris madrensis, Cordia boissieri, Croton cortesianus, C. incanus, Gochnatia hypolecua, Guaiacum angustifolium, Karwinksia humboldtiana, Leucophyllum frutescens, Phaulothamnus spipnescens, Prosopsis glandulosa, Salvia ballotiflora, and Zanthoxylum fagara.
