Habitat and Description: Frequent in cobbles and gravel. Associates include Justicia americana, Cephalanthus occidentalis, Eleocharis rostellata, Juglans microcarpa, Fuirena simplex, Cladium jamaicense, Andropogon glomeratus, Panicum virgatum, Salvia farinacea, Baccharis sp., Platanus occidentalis.
