Habitat and Description: Local in cattle pasture grassland on gravelly reddish-brown loamy soil on rolling landscape underlain by Weches Formation. Associates include Allium drummondii, Arnoglossum plantagin-eum, Asclepias viridiflora, A. viridis, Astranthium integrifolium, Calamintha arkansana, Calylophus sp., Carex cherokeensis, Erigeron sp., Euphorbia marginata, Hordeum pusillum, Juniperus virginiana, Lesquerella pallida, Nassella leucotricha, Onosmodium cf. bejariense, Phlox pilosa, Prunella vulgaris, Sherardia arvensis, Sonchus sp., Trifolium dubium, Vernonia baldwinii.
