Habitat and Description: Leaves and lower stems glutinous; lower leaves with dark chevrons; tepals pink; occasional in cracked clay exposed in bed of stock tank during drought, on broad confusing floodplain formed by various channels of Nueces River. Associates include Glinus radiatus, Eragrostis reptans, Chloracantha spinosa, Alternanthera sp., Nama stenocarpum, Phyla nodiflora.
