Habitat and Description: Common in mixed vegetation on disturbed clayey soils on bulldozed roadside and slope of channelized drainage ditch on gently undulating landscape underlain by Lissie Formation. Associates include Acacia minuata, Aristida purpurea, Baccharis neglecta, Berberis trifoliolata, Celtis pallida, Chamaesyce velleriflora, Chloris cucullata, Clematis drummondii, Condalia hookeri, Cynanchum barbigerum, Desmanthus virgatus, Dichanthium annulatum, Digitaria cognata, Diospyros texana, Dyssodia pentachaeta, Eupatorium incarnatum, Evolvulus alsinoides, E. sericeus, Florestina tripteris, Menodora heterophylla, Opuntia lindheimeri, Panicum hallii, Pennisetum ciliare, Phyllanthus polygonoides, Physalis cinerascens, Prosopis glandulosa, Rhynchosida physocalyx, Salvia coccinea, Sida abutifolia, Solanum elaeagnifolium, Xylothamia palmeri, Zanthoxylum fagara.
