Habitat and Description: Several clonal colonies in shrubland at foot of steep W-facing limestone slope. Associates include Sophora secundiflora, Acacia berlandieri, A. roemeriana, Diospyros texana, Forestiera reticulata, Eysenhardtia texana, Colubrina texensis, Bernardia myricifolia, Rhus virens, Sideroxylon lanuginosum, Nolina texana, Guaiacum angustifolium, Agave lechuguilla.
