Habitat and Description: Occasional in mix of shrubs on fenceline between county road and hay meadow, on deep, well drained, friable neutral to alkaline loam (Clareville Series) on level upland underlain by Lissie Formation. Associates include Condalia hookeri, Acacia minuata, A. rigidula, Diospyros texana, Berberis trifoliolata, Ehretia anacua, Zanthoxylum fagara, Forestiera angustifolia, Prosopis glandulosa, Aloysia gratissima, Celtis reticulata, Schaefferia cuneifolia, Guaiacum angustifolium.
